Remember when I did that interview with CNN a few weeks ago? Some of you already know that on my way back up to the field for the USDA tour and more media interviews I got in an accident. My trusty truck is all patched up now and I drove for the first time in about three weeks. Now it looks better than it did when I bought it in 2010! Here’s the before and after.
Whew! It has a nice shine to it now! I know the feeling of getting one back from the body shop after a wreck. Watch out for those speeding vans this go around.
Since that day I’ve had about six more people pull out in front of me without the right of way. Must be contagious. No more accidents though. Almost hit a boat the other day on the highway because none of the brake or turn lights were working on the trailer.
I was going to take to mouldings off the doors myself in the near future, but I got the body shop to do it for me since they had to remove and replace one anyway. I prefer the clean look without emblems, etc.
