Here are a couple videos of this year’s wheat harvest. The first is a view from the cab of the combine, and the second one is unloading wheat onto a truck. A note about the first video. I mention in it that GPS tracking was “all I needed” for the amount of wheat we have. The JD 1800 monitor you see has always been used in our 9320 for tillage. I had never actually used it before in the field. After I shot the video (and almost finished harvesting) I played around and found the yield monitor, etc. Oh well, no big deal. Just though I’d point it out before some other #agnerd did it for me! Enjoy the videos!

Enjoyed the vlogs. I’ve never been in a combine, so it was a pretty cool trip. If only our tractors had auto-steer in the hay fields…
I’ve noticed in our manuals for the guidance systems that you can run tracks in a spiral pattern (but with straight lines and right angles). I could never figure out what it was for until I asked @johndeeretara and found out people use it for mowing hay.
