I want to take a moment to thank my friend Judi who travels social media circles as FARMnWIFE. Judi set up a Facebook group for ag bloggers who wanted to take their sites to the next level. All during the month of March Judi has been giving us assignments and tips. In fact many of the changes I’m putting to work now date back to August of last year when I attended the AgChat conference in Kansas city where Judi gave a presentation on better blogging.
You may have noticed quite a few changes on my blog if you’ve been following along. The most obvious is that the look and feel here has changed. There’s been a lot of things I’ve wanted to change for some time, and Judi putting together a plan was my impetus for finally getting around to cleaning house around here.
What’s great about Judi is I know it takes a lot of time and effort just to run my tiny social media empire, but here she is taking time to make sure the rest of us are learning how to make our own blogs better.
So thank you, Judi Graff! And if you set this up again next year you can be sure I’ll be down for some more bloggy homework.
One of my new behind the scenes tools is Zemanta. It brings up photos and links to other posts as I type that may be related to my post. I couldn’t resist sticking this in when Zemanta kept bringing up photos of Judi Dench while I typed Judi Graff. Ha!
Judi looks great with short hair!
Thanks, Brian. If only I could be as cool as Dame Dench.
