No News is Good News

Haven’t really posted much for you to read lately, but that’s because we’ve been in the field planting!  I’ve been tweeting quite a bit from the tractor, but I can’t read or write much for an extended period without getting motion sick.  And when you get home most nights after dark, working on a blog post is low on the list of things to do.  As a result blog posts have been lacking for the last few weeks.  I don’t even have many pictures for Friday’s weekly “Farm Week in Pictures” post.  I’ll have to work on that one.

We finished corn last Saturday and bean acres are going quickly.  If the rain stays away we could be done this weekend or early next week.  There’s still a lot to do since planting is running behind.  We have to mow roadsides, and spray fence rows as soon as we get out of the field.  I’m sure we have some more grain to haul, and before you know it wheat harvest is going to be here and summer will half over.  I have some ideas for new posts that I plan on getting to, so keep looking and there’ll be something new before long!
